Last updated: June 25, 2026
CreatorXChange (“CreatorXChange,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our website, platform, and services (the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information. Name, email address, password, username, role (Creator or Clipper), and other details you provide when you register or update your profile.
- Connected accounts. Information from social media and other third-party accounts you connect, such as YouTube (via Google), TikTok, Instagram, and X, when you authorize the connection. This includes your posts and videos and their views and engagement data, which we use to let you submit posts to campaigns and to track campaign performance. See the YouTube and Google API Services section below for details on YouTube connections.
- Content. The campaigns, clips, messages, and other content you create or submit through the Services.
- Payment and payout information. Information needed to process payments and payouts. Card and bank details are handled by our payments partners (such as Stripe) under their own policies; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and device information. Information about how you use the Services, including log data, IP address, browser and device type, and similar technical information.
- Communications. Records of your communications with us, including support requests and emails we send you.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including accounts, campaigns, clips, wallets, and payouts;
- Verify identity, detect and prevent fraud, and enforce our terms and policies;
- Process transactions and communicate with you about your account, payments, and activity;
- Personalize and improve the Services, and develop new features;
- Respond to your requests, provide support, and send service announcements;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, property, and safety of CreatorXChange, our Users, and others.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable, such as for Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we process personal information based on one or more lawful bases, including: performance of a contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services; and your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. YouTube and Google API Services
Some features of the Services let you connect your YouTube account through Google’s authorization process. These features use YouTube API Services.
When you connect your YouTube account, you authorize CreatorXChange to use read-only access to your YouTube posts and videos and their performance data. We use this access so that you can view your own posts within CreatorXChange and select the post you are submitting to a campaign, and, after you submit a post, to read its views and engagement data so we can track campaign performance and determine qualifying engagement, which may affect earnings. We request read-only access only. We do not post, edit, or delete anything on your YouTube account.
We store only the YouTube data needed to provide these features, such as channel identifiers and basic channel and video details. We do not use YouTube data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the service providers that help us operate the Services or where required by law.
By connecting your YouTube account, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. Google’s handling of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can revoke CreatorXChange’s access to your Google and YouTube data at any time through the Google security settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access may disable features that depend on your connected YouTube account.
CreatorXChange’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, and, where relevant, as part of a merger or acquisition after obtaining your consent. We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties for advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, creditworthiness, or lending purposes, and we do not allow humans to read your Google user data except with your consent, for security, to comply with law, or where the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in line with applicable requirements.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary to operate the Services, such as keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or non-essential tracking cookies. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We also retain and use information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, detect and prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, where practical.
